Optimism

Came across a few good quotes while reading my beIRONfit book, with regards to mental training.

1) Ronald Reagan, one of the most famous optimists, liked to tell a story about a boy who walked into the barn and stepped into a pile of manure. A wide smile came across the boy's face and he said, "I know there must be a pony here somewhere." Ask yourself right now: If you walked into a barn adn stepped into manure, what would be your first words? I suspect they would not be words you want to say in front of children.

2) Mark Twain once wrote, "Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear - not absence of fear." Courage does not mean you are without fear. Courage means you have fear but you have learned to deal with it in a positive way.

3) Embarrassment. You don't regret things that you did in life; you regret the things you didn't do.

Just something that Muggs wanna share.
