Limping Marathon Runner

*Yawn* I just woke up. I had a wonderful day on 1st Jan, a great to start Year 2005. Although it was raining yesterday during in the afternoon, it stopped around 3pm. It can't be raining the whole day, I asked myself. We're having BBQ at night!! My secondary school friends and I are having a BBQ session at Jimmy's house. Every year, this is our tradition to celebrate our friendship. By end of 2004, we have known each other for 18 years. Time flies. Definitely faster than speed of sound. The amount of food we gathered this time was just right. Last year, we bought more than we could finish. We had a smaller crowd this year. I guess everyone has their own programme. Nevertheless, it was still enjoyable. Our center of attraction of the night was still Wilson's little daughter. She was rather shy when she reached Jimmy's house. After half an hour of "warming up" session, she was pratically having fun, partying with everyone. Adults were all engrossed in chatting, drinking and munching. Around Jimmy's house, we heard mangoes dropping. Yep. You've guessed it. We had mangoes.... free fruits.

After our BBQ session, most of the guys sent their wives home. To extend our gathering session, we went to have a chit-chat coffee session at a cafe. All of us agreed that we should hold a big celebration by year 2007 because we would have known each other for 20 years. Isn't that a reason worth celebrate??!! So, we chatted till 2am this morning before we all left. I reached home and slept till now.
