Limping Marathon Runner

Brushing everything aside as instructed, I carried the load (double load, that is) on my back. I cleared the bar. Everyone is happy we won one battle out of two. The other result is yet to be released. On the other hand, I just trigger ten semi-automatics, five M-60s and one big artillery gun pointing at my behind. Everyone else has gone hiding. *Waves to all* 'Thanks guys!' I can even hear my echo down the hallway.

Today was not any better. I shall move away from details. Maybe I am expecting a little too much? I just prepare myself that my phone will ring anytime tomorrow. No time to even rush back for the usual Fri torture-me-quick swim. Just a 6.8km run.
